North Country Hospital is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Newport, VT
The Urology Clinic Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support by:
- obtaining information from employee/patients, employers, insurance companies, and others,
- maintaining patient records,
- maintaining schedules,
- billing for services,
- receiving payments,
- interacting with employers and employees,
- handling communications, including mail and telephone. JOB QUALIFICATIONS ARE: The successful candidate will preferably have:
- a minimum of one year coding and charge entry;
- experience as a C.N.A. or Medical Assistant;
- successful completion of a two year medical secretarial position or a certificate in medical transcription.
- CMT certification and at least one year medical transcription experience.
- strong organizational, interpersonal, communicational, and filing skills;
- competency in computer use.
