Collaborate with a team and work autonomously to complete tasks effectively
Uphold a belief in the potential for growth and learning for all individuals
Maintain detailed documentation and confidentiality of information
Demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Communicate openly with management to address concerns and suggestions
Contribute to team morale and engage in company meetings and discussions
Physical Demands And Work Environment
Physical demands may vary based on individual needs
The role involves working in diverse environments, mainly in individuals' homes
Some shifts may require community-based activities and driving up to 30 miles
Requirements For a Direct Support Professional
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and registration
CPR, First Aid, and other relevant certifications
Clear background checks and legal status in the U.S.
Proficiency in English reading and writing
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate software applications
