North East Ohio Network (NEON) is a council of government agency dedicated to supporting county boards in the NE region of Ohio. We focus on serving children and adults who are at risk for or have a diagnosed developmental disability.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Purchasing Specialist for Family Supports Services (FSS). As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals enrolled in the Family Supports Services program with County Boards by facilitating the purchase of requested items. Training specific to this position will be provided after hire.
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with families and County Board personnel regarding inquiries, questions, and account balances.
· Review, authorize, order, and approve payments for a variety of services (primarily for memberships at recreational facilities) within the FSS programs administered by NEON.
· Maintain documentation and receipts for all expenditures, entering data into software programs, and managing Excel spreadsheets and files.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Preferred bachelor’s degree, but not required.
· Preferred knowledge or experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities, but not required.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
· Possess excellent computer skills in various word processing, PDF, and database management programs.
· Ability to manage time efficiently and address multiple priorities.
· Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability.
· Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry clearances required.
COMPENSATION:
· $18.50-$19.82 per hour, determined by applicable experience

SCHEDULE/LOCATION:
· 24 to 29 hours per week; typically Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. after 6-month orientation period)
· Potential for hybrid work (in-office/remote work) opportunities.
