North Fork Rancheria Of Mono Indians Of California is Hiring an Indian Housing Authority – Administrative Assistant Near North Fork, ID

Full-time, non-exempt employee. Under supervision of the Executive Housing Director, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks related to housing programs and services, construction administration, and grant management. $39,576 – $57,354 per year, depending on experience.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparing construction scopes of work.
  • Assists with completing environmental reviews.
  • Assists with construction procurement.
  • Assists with preparing construction contracts including all required supporting documentation.
  • Assures compliance with construction contract provisions, including and not limited to: uniform guidance, procurement standards, certified payroll, and Indian Preference.
  • Assists in coordinating and scheduling of housing rehabilitations and other construction related activities.
  • Assists with construction status reports and site observations.
  • Communicates construction status with NFRIHA, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and program participants.
  • Maintains files and documents related to construction activities.
  • Maintains vendor and subcontractor lists.
  • Assists with preparing construction safety training material for crew, files safety meeting reports, assures compliance with the construction safety policy, and coordinates additional trainings.
  • Attends meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to housing and community development and construction activities.
  • Reviews notices of funding opportunities.
  • Assists in preparing grant applications.
  • Assists with grant reporting and closeout documentation.
  • Assists with grant monitoring and compliance with implementations schedules and budgets.
  • Assists with NFRIHA real estate services program.
  • Assists with special projects or tasks.
  • Prepares monthly reports to Tribal Council.
  • Assists with other administrative tasks in support of Executive Housing Director, Project Manager, Finance Manager, Occupancy Manager, and Service Coordinator.
