About this Role

As an Office Administrator within the Safety department, you'll provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of safety-related activities. Your responsibilities may include managing documentation, scheduling safety training sessions, assisting with safety audits and inspections, and maintaining communication channels between the Safety department and other departments within the organization. With your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, you'll play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including incident reports, training documentation, and safety data sheets.
• Act as a resource for employees and management on safety-related issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging safety technologies to continuously improve safety practices and programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
• Promote a positive safety culture through communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• HS Diploma/GED Required
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Bi-lingual – Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software/tools.
