Job Description

**Technical:*** Have the ability to perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation.**Budget:*** Keep supply use to a minimal and maintain overtime to 3% or less**Liaison:*** Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication/interaction* Ensures high quality health care is delivered at the West Point Facility and Radiology department by effectively interacting and cooperating with providers**Reporting:*** Prepares and presents patients reports/projects as required* Maintains that exams and charges are correct on daily basis.**Regulation**:* Must have the training and experience to perform in the modality of two or more of the following modalities: CT, MRI, Mammography, and Diagnostic Radiology.* Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines* Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues**Requirements:** * Graduate of AMA approved school. Registered or registry eligible by ARRT or RDMS in minimal of two modalities.* Mississippi Medical Technical License (for MS facilties only)* CPR required* Excellent interpersonal skills; requiredJob Knowledge: * High School diploma. GED, or equivalent; Required* Graduate of AMA approved school.* Registered or registry eligible by ARRT or RDMS in minimal of two modalities preferred.* Mississippi Medical Technical License; required* CPR required* Excellent interpersonal skills; required
