North Shore Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinarian Near Lynn, MA

We have been providing veterinary healthcare services to the community for more than 42 years. Our dedicated staff is friendly and well-trained, with most of them having worked with us for over 30 years. We are privately owned and believe in giving you the freedom to practice medicine in the best way possible for your patients without any production quotas or pressure to follow a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. We encourage collaboration with our other doctors and staff as needed to provide the best care possible. Additionally, we offer generous employee discounts and have state-of-the-art equipment such as digital radiography, surgical laser, ultrasound, in-house analyzers, digital dental radiography, and Dentalaire.

Responsibilities:
- Examine animals and diagnose their health conditions
- Perform medical procedures, such as vaccinations, surgeries, and dental work
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Provide preventive care, including regular check-ups and vaccinations
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, veterinary medicine, and laboratory procedures
- Experience in animal restraint and handling, including dog handling
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and understanding of common pet diseases and conditions
- Ability to perform animal catheterization and other medical procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
