Essential Job Functions:
- Establish month end close deadlines by preparing and analyzing journal entries
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain organized financial records
- Conduct audits, analyze finance data to ensure accuracy and compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) to maintain financial integrity
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, provide proactive analysis and optimize financial performance
- Serve as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed
- Maintain confidential financial record information
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Understanding of financial reporting requirements, GAAP and tax
- CPA or working towards certification preferred
