Our mission is to create significant customer value, provide a prosperous workplace for our employees, and positively impact society. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator for our sister company, Bayou Processing & Storage, in east Houston. The Maintenance Coordinator communicates, coordinates, and prioritizes maintenance work orders with maintenance personnel and supervisors.Responsibilities:Receives, manages, and processes work order requests and ensures problems are resolved quicklyMonitors and updates maintenance team and management on open jobs dailyCompletes all paperwork associated with maintenance work ordersCoordinates with contractors and vendors and follows up on open jobsManages parts, warehouse supplies, and small equipment inventories Receives and inspects all supplies related to each jobMaintains Wintrix Asset List and updates with repairs and maintenance performed on equipmentMaintains the preventative maintenance schedules on all equipmentAssist the Purchasing Clerk with researching parts and equipment needed for jobsCoordinates with the Purchasing Clerk in resolving paperwork and purchase order issues for all supplies received at the warehouseMaintains a safe, neat, and orderly facility at all timesIdentifies process deficiencies and reports to managementAttends and/or leads all required training and safety sessionsReports all safety violations or unsafe work conditionsAssists in other areas of the operation when required Qualifications:2 years of maintenance mechanic shop experienceKnowledge of tools, parts, and general understanding of industrial equipment Strong organizational skills, multitasking skills, and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related softwareGood judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityProfessional communication and interpersonal skillsBi-lingual in Spanish and English strongly preferredBenefits:North Shore Steel provides rich benefits to its full-time employees and their families, including, but not limited to, multiple Major Medical plans, Dental, Vision, Vol Life, Short Term Disability, and a Flex Spending Account.
