Field Director for a Congressional Race in AZ01:

A Democratic congressional campaign in Arizona’s first congressional district based in Phoenix Arizona is currently hiring a Field Director. The Field Director is responsible for the day-to-day recruitment, instruction and management of canvass teams. Successful applicants will possess at least two cycles of organizing experience on a candidate or issue advocacy campaign. AZO1 is consistently ranked as the most flippable seat in the country.

Ideal candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and capable of showing leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and Design Field Plan for your campaign
• Manage campaign staff and budgets, and provide support, mentorship, and training to ensure progress toward program goals.
• Leverage innovative voter contact tools and integrate them into the field plan.
• Recruit Volunteers and build a robust field operation in a short period of time
• Meet daily and weekly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals

Job Qualifications:

• Candidates will preferably have at least two cycles of election field organizing experience with one cycle of field management experience
• Organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment. One cycle prior campaign experience in a managerial role strongly favored.
• Hands-on management style and a desire to lead your team to victory!
• Be available to work in person, or remotely
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Proficient in office productivity software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Apps for Work (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive).
• Knowledge of common direct contact database software like Votebuilder
• Authorized to work in the US, and ability to sign non-disclosure agreements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build relationships, listen, collaborate, and lead with respect and professionalism
• Highly organized and independent work style; a strong ability to multitask and communicate

Salary: $6,000-$7,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
