Position Title: Community Outreach Ambassador

Pay: $15-$20 per hour

Job Description:

North Side Community School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Community Outreach Ambassadors to join our team. In this role, you will be canvassing neighborhoods in the Greater North City St. Louis area to promote student enrollment. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with community members, share information about our school, and encourage families to consider enrolling their children in our grades PreK-8th program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Canvass designated neighborhoods by walking and knocking on doors.

- Engage in friendly and informative conversations with residents about North Side Community School.

- Provide detailed information about our school's offerings, including transportation, free breakfast and lunch, school supplies, extracurricular activities, and comprehensive mental health services.

- Distribute promotional materials and answer questions from prospective families.

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing North Side Community School.

Qualifications:

- Must be a people person with excellent verbal communication skills.

- Must have a smartphone with reliable service for communication and navigation.

- Ability to walk for extended periods and navigate various neighborhoods.

- Reliable transportation to travel to different areas within North City St. Louis.

- Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and engaging with a diverse range of residents.

- Knowledge of North City St. Louis neighborhoods is a plus.
