North Smithfield School Department is Hiring an Anticipated: Summer School Program - English Teacher - NSHS Near Smithfield, RI
SCHEDULE:
- First week only has two days; Face to Face: 3 hours Tuesday, 3 daytime hours and 2 evening hours Wednesday, 3 hours Thursday
- July 2 & 3 (NSHS 9-1pm in person)
- July 16-18 (NSHS 9-12 in person)
- July 23-25 (NSHS 9-12 in person)
- Wednesday Night (optional, 2 teachers to facilitate testing)
- July 10 (5-7PM)
- July 17 (5-7PM)
- July 24 (5-7PM)1.NSHS Summer School held at NSHS in the Library and or classroom with A/C.2.Students are required to attend sessions with NSHS teachers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to take tests/exams and receive academic assistance.3.All Edgenuity work is due no later than Thursday, July 25, 2024.4.Courses not completed will result in the student being rescheduled in the course for the 2024-2025 school year.5.All courses must be completed in person unless approved by the NSHS administration.6.Under NSHS graduation requirements, NSHS students will first recover credits in English and Math if they choose to participate in summer credit recovery. Science and Social Studies courses may be added if the student has room to do so in their schedule or if they finish a Math or English recovery course quickly.
