Our maintenance department is currently welcoming a full time Maintenance Technician to the team!
Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45-acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.
Compensation package: Competitive salary. Employee benefits available including exemplary health and related insurance after 30 days, 21 days per year Paid Time Off available after 90 days in addition to an Extended Leave Bank for use when sick, opportunity to purchase stock at discounted prices , and a 401(k) Plan with a generous company match. Three meals a day provided at no cost to employees.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
- Monitors, tests, inspects and performs other assigned tasks in support of utility management program.
- Inspects, services and schedules maintenance in support of the facilities vehicle fleet.
- Performs assigned duties to maintain and upkeep facility buildings and grounds.
- Responds to customer work requests in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates desired professional behavior, attitude and appearance.
- Assist in ordering supplies, Bids and scheduling.
Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to meet the basic health requirements of the hospital without restrictions.
- Must possess physical stamina to shift, lift and move equipment and supplies.
- Position requires dexterity, good vision, ability to walk, stoop, bend.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds without assistance.
- Weights above 35 pounds are to be done with assistance.
