Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct company strategic recruitment and selection plan.
- Facilitate company strategic training and organizational development plan to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs of company employees.
- Administer compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels.
- Provide counsel to Directors, Managers, and Supervisors regarding effective employee management; administers performance evaluation systems.
- Oversee procedures and technology solutions to improve human resource data management.
- Recommend and maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Evaluate company culture and provide recommendations on change to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage annual budget for the department and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.
- Recommend, establish, and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Administer Leave of Absence program.
- Administers Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment program.
- Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Serve on planning and policy-making committees; administer Employee Council program.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate HR department employees.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Personnel Administration, Industrial Relations or related field; four (4) years Human Resources experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience as Human Resources Director or Assistant Director (preferably in health care) preferred or five (5) years’ experience in a senior-level Human Resources position required.
- Masters Degree in field, plus PHR or SPHR highly preferred.
