POSITION PURPOSE:

We're looking for a highly motivated full time Recruitment Coordinator. This individual will be posting all approved positions on the Careers website in addition to external platforms, scheduling virtual and onsite interviews, tracking and documenting interview feedback, creating and presenting reports relative to Talent Acquisition functions. This role provides an opportunity to develop one’s skillset around recruitment, learn the industry, and grow their professional self.
In this role you will engage in recruitment and selection activity across all business lines. In addition to direct sourcing for roles, you will shortlist applicants, speak to candidates ahead of interview, strategically network, engage in direct contact with passive candidates, and sell passive job opportunities. As part of the established recruiting team, you will support the recruitment partners in finding candidates who fit our business needs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Post all approved requisitions on the North Wind Careers website.
  • Coordinate/schedule virtual and onsite interviews.
  • Create, run, edit, and share reports with the team and internal stakeholders.
  • Document and track all interview feedback in accordance with EEOC, OFCCP, and North Wind Company Policy.
  • Track referral bonus program and submit payout requests according to policy requirements.
  • Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition point of contact for full-/part-time nonexempt searches, providing guidance and expertise throughout the hiring and selection process.
  • Provides consultation to hiring managers and search committees in acquiring and selecting candidates from the applicant pool.
  • Manages the full cycle recruiting process for applicants, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Answer incoming calls from job applicants.
  • Make outgoing calls to candidates.
  • Review applicants for open searches to ensure candidates meet the minimum requirements, conduct initial calls with candidates to evaluate skills and ensure compensation expectations align with the for the given role.
  • Leverage understanding of the marketplace to assist hiring managers in setting realistic expectations of filling the openings.
  • Sources active and passive candidates through various channels including, but not limited to, networking, online databases, contact lists, internal databases, cold calling, internet searches, and research, identifying and developing creative methodologies for sourcing a diverse candidate pool.
  • Utilize the company Applicant Tracking System to document all communication with potential candidates and Hiring Managers.
  • Assists the TA Manager in identifying and planning job fairs/recruiting events and cultivate relationships with organizations and higher education institutions to increase the pipeline of qualified and diverse applicants.
  • Develops and maintains processes to assist in meeting HR goals, metrics, and objectives related to Talent Acquisition.
  • Provides training and consultation to hiring managers concerning interviewing, use of the applicant tracking system, and relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conducts regular follow-ups with key stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
  • In collaboration with the hiring manager, Human Resources Managers, and Compensation Analyst, ensures all hourly wages are aligned with SCA or DBA fringe before extending an employment offer.
  • Ensures the workflow of applicants is tracked with detailed notes in the candidate’s profile in accordance with OFCCP.
  • Review and monitor the talent acquisition applicant tracking system performance and metrics to maximize process improvement and quality of candidate experience.
  • Deliver quality customer services to internal and external constituents in a professional, helpful, and courteous manner.
  • Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality of HR information.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains an open, flexible, and innovative attitude about ongoing process improvement and enhancement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of industry trends and their impact to the recruitment process.
  • Continually looks for opportunities to improve work processes and the value of delivered services.
  • Works with recruitment leadership providing continuous improvement ideas and suggestions.
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition Manager in implementing talent acquisition strategies for hiring managers and supporting North Wind’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Compiles data and prepares reports as requested.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Attends and represents the College at Job Fairs as needed.
  • Serves as a brand ambassador, supporting and sharing NW’s VTO by demonstrating and articulating values, mission, culture, and total rewards package.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Preferred 1 year of full cycle HR recruiting experience, including sourcing active and passive job seekers, screening, interviewing, etc., is required. Will consider an HR/Recruitment Internship as experience.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, and various sourcing tools
  • Experience using an application tracking system

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency using MS Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively is required.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and assessing for effective decision-making is required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment with changing priorities required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of OFCCP guidelines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position is a sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting for long periods of time but will also be required to stand, walk, and communicate with others.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work to be performed indoors in a typical office environment with occasional travel/offsite recruitment activities.
