Job Description
Our client is a large, global Alternative Asset Manager located in Midtown Manhattan, looking to hire a Tax Director to be the #1 in Tax and lead a high performing team of ex Big-4 professionals. The role will entail planning, policy, and compliance for the funds consisting of Private Equity, Real Estate, and Credit.
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact for all tax matters
- Work with the front office/investment teams to provide tax structuring advice
- Review all tax work provided from the Big 4, inclusive of K-1s, 1065s, and partnership tax returns, review M-1 tax adjustments
- Work with IR during fundraising, specifically regarding tax due dilligence
