This position is in Salary Grade CS3, with a minimum salary of $21.88 per hour. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to the Physical Plant operations and departmental activities. This is accomplished by answering phones, assisting visitors, greeting, and directing callers and visitors, printing and distributing departmental correspondence, copying, and scanning materials, completing requisitions for purchases. Completes monthly reports for the business office, maintains code compliance records as required for county, state, federal, and local agencies. Maintaining inventory and ordering of supplies. Utilizes computer software program for making and distributing keys to employees and providing electronic access control to employees. Provides budget development for Physical Plant. Coordinates the operations of the college motorpool. Other duties include recording notes from the safety sub-committee.

An associate degree in a related field is required or agreement to attain said degree.

Over one year up to and including three years’ experience required.

Requires strong telephone, computer, organizational and communication skills and ability to work successfully with the public, provide courteous customer service, and conform with deadlines.
