Compensation & Benefits: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour plus benefits package
Details
- Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, providing accurate information and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with medical staff to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain patient records and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Insurance verification (training provided)
- Assist patients with completing forms and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately filed.
- Handle billing and payments, providing clear explanations of charges and processing transactions.
- Coordinate with external service providers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or healthcare is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a medical or concierge setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., MS Office) and medical practice management systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach to service.
