Position Description:

Northeast KY Community Action Agency is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of Business Service Representative. This position reports to our Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Department.

Accountabilities:

A WIOA Business Service Representative is accountable for service delivery to clients with specific focus on service quality and efficiency, and customer satisfaction toward client enrollment. Additionally, the initiation of strong relationships with each client is a key performance indicator commonly associated with this position.

Business Service Representative will cover the counties of Carter, Elliott and Lawrence County. Travel will be reimbursed.

This position will be based out of a Carter County office (either Grayson or Olive Hill).

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Help employers find qualified employees

● Screen potential employees for employers during the hiring process

● Host job fairs for employers to help find qualified candidates for available positions

● Assist with training costs for new hires and upgrading the skills of existing employees.

● Facilitate contacts with various state and federal programs partners, including but not limited to, parents, employers, Business Service Consultants, WIOA staff, and school staff.

● Maintain professional attitude while delivering and working with WIOA Business Services to employers and clients

● Work with appropriate partners to plan and facilitate workshops focusing on workforce development skills.

● Excellent oral and written communication.

● Knowledge of social media platforms, technology, and the ability to adapt to changing platforms.

● Ability to multi-task.

● Maintain a positive attitude.

● Other duties as assigned.

Education:

A degree is required, preferably in Business Administration or a related field. Wage will be based upon education and experience.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
