Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Advanced Practice Provider at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) Health Care. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care in areas of student health and advanced family medicine for pediatric and adult patients including acute and chronic disease management. Your day-to-day tasks may include diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medications, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and implementing care plans.

Qualifications

  • Current unencumbered Ohio License to practice (APN/PA)
  • Current DEA certificate
  • APN or PA degree from an accredited university
  • Successful completion of an accredited APP program of training in family medicine or internal medicine/pediatrics, or equivalent experience.
  • Specialization in family medicine.
  • Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions
  • Strong clinical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
