Position Overview: We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to assist in the analysis, modeling, and research services for investment real estate advisors. This position will also enhance our market research capabilities and provide actionable insights that will drive our strategic decision-making and business growth. This role will also involve conducting in-depth market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and trend forecasting to support our sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, expertise in commercial real estate markets, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling, including the creating of financial models, cash flow, pro-forma, debt and equity, and IRR analysis.
• Analyze data on property transactions, market conditions, and economic indicators to support investment decisions and client advisories.
• Conduct property research including property information, sales and rent comparables, regional economic drivers, and underwriting assumptions.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of regional commercial real estate markets, with a focus on Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide data-driven insights for business development initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive market analysis reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in market research, preferably within the commercial real estate sector.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software and Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate databases and research tools (e.g., CoStar, REIS, Real Capital Analytics) is a plus.
