POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: IT Specialist, District, Assigned to Claremore Campus

Exempt Non-Certified Professional, Full-Time, 12-month Staff

Starting Date: August 1, 2024

Reports to: Director of Technology

Schedule: General work schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The work schedule may change based on the needs of the district (for example system updates, repairs, etc.)

Compensation

Package: $76,105 minimum annually, commensurate with experience. Health, dental, vision, paid life insurance, and teachers’ retirement paid; flexible benefits plan; sick leave, vacation, and paid holidays. The total minimum compensation package is approximately $96,174 minimum annually.

Primary

Function: This position provides technical support to the administrative offices and classrooms of the Northeast Tech school district. It is assigned duties and responsibilities for providing support to assist in functions of the campuses’ day-to-day operations and provide various IT services to all our district customers.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent degree with an emphasis in Computer/Data Processing

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience working with information systems. Industry Certifications are a plus. Working knowledge of Computer and Networking Hardware as well as IT security fundamentals. Experience with Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Windows Server 2019, 2016, Windows 10, 11, and MAC OS. Application Support Experience, MS Office, and Adobe Suite. Experience working with PDQ and Mosyle MDM preferred. Working Knowledge of PC Diagnostic Utilities. Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
