Northeastern Reproductive Medicine is Hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator Near Colchester, VT

Background & Purpose of the Job

Northeastern Reproductive Medicine is a growing, thriving, fertility practice in Colchester, VT. As part of Northeastern Reproductive Medicine, this role will support NRM and its patients. The purpose of this role is to provide welcoming, friendly service to patients, helping them navigate both administrative and billing aspects of their treatment journey. The primary role will be supporting the administrative and billing teams conduct their day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate for this position has a contagiously positive attitude, problem solving mindset, and excellent communication skills. Our clinical operates within a ‘team’ approach and each role is a very integral part of our puzzle. This role reports to the Business Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do

Administrative Operations

  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring all patients feel welcomed and supported during their visit.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, return voicemails, and manage correspondences.
  • Open and close the clinic on assigned days.
  • Managing incoming faxes, distributing appropriately to team members.
  • Assist with managing the daily schedule.
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter.
  • Retrieve postal mail, scanning documents and directing to team members.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our busy front office.
  • Perform other clerical tasks as needed.

BILLING OPERATIONS

  • Assist with responding to patient billing inquires.
  • Provide education about the financial process to patients.
  • Generate treatment estimates in a timely manner.
  • Assist with insurance verifications & prior authorization submissions.
  • Collect co-pays & treatment cycle payments prior to services.
  • Enter credit card payments into payment tracking system.
  • Provide overall billing support to ensure efficient operation of our financial office.
  • Perform other billing tasks as needed.

What You Need to Succeed

  • High School diploma, college degree preferred but not required
  • Experience with patient care or customer service
  • Organized, detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Financial information systems, medical billing and accounts receivable experience is a plus
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate process and payments required.
  • Basic computer, telephone, copier, scanner, and fax machine skills a must
  • Experience with EMRs a plus
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
