Description of Position
The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University invites applications for a part-time adjunct position serving the counseling program. The successful candidate should have expertise and the ability to teach online.
While our department offers courses on all three campuses including Tahlequah, Broken Arrow, and Muskogee, as well as online, this position will be based only online.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses in counseling to be determined by departmental need and area of specialty.
Part-time faculty in the Counseling program are responsible for developing course materials and teaching assigned courses within the curriculum.
All course delivery integrates technology.
Experience
Previous experience teaching counseling at the graduate level is preferred.
Education Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision.
Master’s degree in Counseling required.

Non-tenure track
Salary $800.00 per credit hour (typically $2,400.00 per course)
