Responsibilities
- This is a working lead responsible for performing all assigned tasks while being the first line of supervision for Customer Service Agents.
- Provides leadership to Customer Service Agents and insures employees are working in a safe and productive manner at all times.
- Provides customer information and sells NAC products both on the phone and in person.
- Quotes rates, executes air bills, tracks shipments, and arranges pick up or delivery of freight.
- Handles cash shipments and maintains a balanced cash drawer.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Must be able to interact well with customers.
- Must be able to type accurately and use a ten key.
- Regular attendance and shift work is required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, criminal history check and security threat assessment.
- Talking throughout the day, communication with customers and co-workers required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good hearing is required for effective and safe communication with co-workers and customers.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
- The employee is regularly required to sit and sometimes stand.
- The employee will need to see (including close vision), speak and hear.
- Manual dexterity is required for using computer and answering phone calls.
