Job Description:

General Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director Patient Financial Services, the Senior Manager of Patient Financial Services will manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable for the Patient Financial Services department.

Works collaboratively with other leaders throughout the health system to achieve department and system financial goals.

Ensures all accounts receivable, billed and unbilled, move through the revenue cycle in a timely manner.

The Senior Manager is responsible for all vendor performance, holding vendors accountable for desired results.

Serves as the subject matter expert for the No Surprise Act for the organization ensuring compliance and identifies change to preserve revenue.

The Senior Manager of Patient Financial Services will have the ability to interface effectively through oral and written communication with staff at all levels.

The successful candidate will have a Masters degree and demonstrate enthusiasm about goals, surpassing previous goals and have the ability to influence others.

Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:

Education: Master Degree

; or Master's degree in Management, Business, Finance, or Accounting

Experience:Required: 5 years’ experience in manager role of hospital Patient Financial Services or equivalent experience as a revenue cycle consultant specific to Patient Financial Services
