Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee the food service operations at Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital and Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital.

The Food Service Manager is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the Food Service Department, which includes planning, developing, organizing, and evaluating all aspects of food preparation and service to ensure quality food service. May provide technical guidance in food preparation and service techniques. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
Required Skills:
- Certified Food Protection Manager
- Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related medical facility is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency
- Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines in assessing nutrition status based on patient ages.
- Demonstrates general computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $56,160.00–$75,587.20.

Maximum Salary: $75,587.20/Yr.
