Northern/Lucus Machine is a fully functioning machine shop producing products for a variety of industries. Northern Lucus Machine is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1986. While we manufacture products, we also sell a variety of products over the counter such as sprockets, belts, bearings, and many more. Our customer could be a walk in or a long-term customer from anywhere in the world.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks such as cleaning, assembly, pickup and delivery, and warehouse duties. Mechanical knowledge and experience with power tools are highly valued for this role. This role requires work to be done both indoors and outdoors.

Duties:

- Assemble products using hand and power tools
- Perform warehouse duties including cleaning and organizing products as well as preparing pallets for shipment
- Operate forklift to transport materials within the facility
- Assist in assembly tasks as needed

- General cleaning including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, etc.

-Pick up and deliver parts within the Lubbock area (company truck provided)

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license-no major violations
• Physically able to lift, bend, carry items.
• Forklift experience
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Full Time-40 hours per week
• Experience with power tools and hand tools
• Able to navigate around the Lubbock area

Hours:

40 hours per week required

Monday-Thursday: 6AM-5PM- 4 day work week!
