Production Control Clerk (Administrative) - Scranton, PA
Federal O & M Contractor seeking an Production Control Clerk for facilities support services within Federal Building Properties.
Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of three years recent experience of support services in an office environment. Employee will be required to process service calls, work assignments; enter completed work order information in database. Perform varied clerical duties which may be assigned in accordance with office procedures and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing. Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties, offices, and employees within the organization. Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within the organization. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, data entry for the NCMMS System; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems. Operate data entry device, such as NCMMS software and Windows operating systems. Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Review staff daily sign-in logs and post daily time sheets for bi-weekly Payroll submittal to the Corporate Office. Process vendor invoices, prepare purchase orders, post monthly expense spreadsheets, maintain petty cash ledger, assemble and copy monthly reports. Prepare and provide billing invoices to the corporate office. Create, maintain, and update manual files, as well as electronic files.
Must be willing to submit to extensive Federal Security/Criminal History Background check. Employer has a drug/alcohol policy.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to communicate well with constituents, be self-motivated, conscientious, hardworking & honest and to work independently.
Position is part of a CBA and requires membership with Union. Full time permanent 40 hrs per week with 11 Holidays, Vacation & Sick leave, benefits in accordance with CBA. Additional details to be discussed at time of interview.
