The Opportunity

Work as part of the globally distributed team, including the Executives, Product, and Engineering teams, to define, develop, and deliver client solutions. Be part of the team that is defining the solutions. Based in Houston is required.

Your Part

• Roll up your sleeves and help establish NorthGravity's client base 
• The primary focus on Commodities trading
• Be involved in all aspects of the sales life cycle
• Define the value story and long-term journey for potential customers, collaborating with client stakeholders to quantify key value drivers and effectively communicating business outcomes that can be achieved using NorthGravity's solutions
• Stellar Demo skills, both from storytelling (day in the life of) and technical depth perspective
• Collaborate with Data Science to understand the capabilities of NorthGravity's predictive models. Incorporate data science tools within the analytical phases of the sales cycle.

To Excel

• 2 years of experience in SaaS sales experience
• Experience selling to energy and commodity companies
• Understanding of physical commodity trading
• Experience working with a team that is building software
• Solution and outcome-based selling 
• Prior start-up/small company experience
• Excellent communicator; direct & transparent (English)
• Demonstrated analytical ability with strong knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques and the ability to synthesize and analyze large volumes of complex information from multiple sources is required
• Deep understanding of concepts and technologies behind big data and predictive analytics
• Ability to demonstrate products to a business and technical audience and articulate value and outcomes from a technology solution
• Strong qualitative and quantitative skills and the ability to grasp new domains quickly
