Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant:
One of our clients is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant. This is an In-Office Opportunity with a salary range of $55k - $60k, Depending on Experience. The client also provides a strong benefits package.
Below is a snapshot of the experience:
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments. Including A/R collections.
• Maintaining W-9 records for all vendors.
• Managing all 1099 contractor payments and records.
• Run by weekly payroll for 20-30 employees using ADP run.
• Maintain employee records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile bank feeds for bank and credit card accounts.
• Prepare weekly reports for accounts receivable and payable.
• Maintain a comprehensive electronic filing system for all financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Stay up to date on bookkeeping best practices.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
• Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online Plus (or above), with QBO certification preferred.
• Experience with ADP run payroll processing is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
