Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost accounting financial statements, providing in-depth analysis by product line and offering valuable insights and additional metrics for data analysis
- Assist in the annual budget process and periodic reforecasts to support effective financial planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the company, ensuring data integrity and reliability
- Provide analysis and insights into company operations to drive profitability and achieve better results
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and fulfill other reporting requirements as directed by management
- Reconcile general ledger data with various sub-ledgers and system data to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Perform month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within the financial reporting process and incorporate best practices
- Maintain strict confidentiality to protect the organization's value and sensitive information
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc variance analyses to identify and address deviations from expected outcomes
- Adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of previous experience performing financial analysis and preparing financial statements
- MS Office, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL
- Advanced Excel
