Senior Financial AnalystWho: Strong Stable and Rapidly Growing Organization What: Senior Financial Analyst When: Immediate Need Where: Galleria, GA Why: Growth Salary: $90k - $110k Office Environment: Hybrid - M/F at home Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in examining, analyzing, and interpreting the company's accounts and records, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will compile and analyze financial and non-financial data, verify data accuracy, and collaborate closely with accounting management and senior executives to prepare comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Responsibilities:
Prepare cost accounting financial statements, providing in-depth analysis by product line and offering valuable insights and additional metrics for data analysis
Assist in the annual budget process and periodic reforecasts to support effective financial planning
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the company, ensuring data integrity and reliability
Provide analysis and insights into company operations to drive profitability and achieve better results
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare ad-hoc reports and fulfill other reporting requirements as directed by management
Reconcile general ledger data with various sub-ledgers and system data to ensure data consistency and accuracy
Perform month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within the financial reporting process and incorporate best practices
Maintain strict confidentiality to protect the organization's value and sensitive information
Prepare monthly and ad-hoc variance analyses to identify and address deviations from expected outcomes
Adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3 years of previous experience performing financial analysis and preparing financial statements
