Now hiring DSP position for our home in Hinckley home.

Shift Schedule:

Week 1: Friday-Sunday 10pm-8am

Week 2: Monday-Thursday 10pm-8pm

Must have experience with Mental Health, Behavioral needs, spectrum type disorders, and intellectual disabilities and CNA experience.

This is a higher cares home, will need experience with lifts and all personal cares.

These positions must also be able to work as a positive part of a team, be reliable, dependable, and have a positive prospective about their employment.

Direct Support Professional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with and work to strengthen the individuals' many daily living needs, including but not limited to: nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, and socialization skills
• Make phone calls and drive clients to appointments, meetings, events, etc.
• Encourage individual skill development and work towards community integration
• Follow all health and safety protocol
• Help clean and tidy home for the individuals
• Be a compassionate, patient and encouraging support professional at all times

Direct Support Professional Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Pass state background check (dependent on state requirements)
• Comfortable working independently and can consistently make good judgments that benefit the client
• Flexible, with a keen ability to handle stress well

Job Type: Full-time
