Hiring a House Lead to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals in Cloquet taking care of an adult male with disabilities.

This position will include supervising and providing leadership to a team of caregivers. This will include training, ordering medications, managing schedules, communicating with care teams, completing 245d documentation, attending administrative meetings, and completing all functions and duties to ensure services are provided at the highest level.

Home setting in Cloquet, MN, we have one client living there full-time.

Ensure supports are provided with quality, safety, dignity and respect to the individuals served.

Ensure environment is kept safe, clean and tidy. Cooking and cleaning duties may be required

Able to provide person-centered services at a high level, and work directly with a team of supports.

Work with Program Director to ensure health care needs are fully addressed and to meet regulatory and NorthStar Community Services compliance needs.

This position has a rotating schedule.

One week you will work Monday-Friday and the other week you will be working 3 days during the week and the weekend. It is required to work every other weekend and you will be on call every other week as well.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Direct Care role.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a 245d setting.
• Preference for experience in supervisory positions.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks.
• A strong work ethic with a commitment to serving others.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
• Preference for experience working with individuals or training in Autism.
