NorthStar Memorial Group is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Dallas, TX

This position is a hybrid role, with the expectation to report to our Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX two to three times a week.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs and educate on hiring trends, labor market data, and best practices in recruiting and retention methods in their market area
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), and delivers employment offers, for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Utilizes traditional and non-traditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Clear Co.
  • Provides necessary metric updates to management including “time to hire”

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, focusing on hiring sales professionals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with all levels of employees
  • Basic understanding of employment law related to the recruitment process
