Job description
We are seeking a fun and creative teacher to lead our Pre-K 4 Classroom!
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for students
- Teach various subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events
Qualifications:
- Experience working with preschool children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations is a plus
- Physical education or sports coaching experience is a plus
