• Psychiatry Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Psychiatry Physician Assistant to join our growing team in Eugene, OR. Our team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we need a passionate and experienced Psychiatry PA to help us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including therapists, social workers, and nurses to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and adjust medication dosages as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatments, and resources.
• Document patient care accurately and completely in electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant
• Experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records. We utilize Advanced Md
