We are looking for a sterilization technician/assistant who enjoys keeping the office on time and running smoothly! No experience required as there will be on-site training. You will be responsible for safely transporting all dental instruments to the lab and properly sterilizing them, restocking, aiding hygienists and assistants in turning over operatories, seating patients, helping hygienists and the dentist with patient charting, processing any X-rays taken and helping the office to stay on schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Turn over operatories, transporting dirty instruments to the sterilization area for processing.

· Process dental instruments and patient care items through the sterilization process safely and efficiently.

· Maintain sterilization equipment, following manufacture maintenance guidelines and intervals.

· Set up treatment rooms for the next patient procedure.

· Escorting patients to and from the treatment rooms as needed.

· Processing digital images.

· Assist doctor and/or a hygienist during the clinical examination when needed.

· Inform front office staff of patient’s next visit needs for scheduling purposes, as needed.

· Restocking supplies.

· Assist in maintaining the office schedule to ensure we all stay on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

No experience necessary but helpful

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to take initiative in a collaborative environment and excellent chair side manner

Desire to learn and grow professionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
