Northway Toyota in Latham, NY and BMW of South Albany, in Glenmont, are part of the reputable Albany Auto Group, is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven individual to fill a Parts Specialist position. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, health insurance, 401(K), paid time off, along with many other benefits! With monthly bonus, overall pay could end up at $65,000 per year.

Some experience and vehicle knowledge is preferred; CDK and electronic parts catalog experience is highly preferred! Sales and inventory experience is appreciated - this position is responsible for selling parts at a profit and preparing counter tickets so a high degree of accuracy in performing numerical calculations is also required.

Parts specialists are responsible for promoting the sales of parts and accessories to internal, retail, and wholesale customers while maintaining customer satisfaction and following company policies and standards. Candidates must be able to handle telephone orders efficiently, including preparation of necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately; able to retrieve, load and deliver items of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs.) in operable and undamaged condition throughout the dealership; and able to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements.

A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills; this position communicates closely with service technicians and management
• Ability to operate a computer and telephone system efficiently

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
