Northwest CenterEarly Supports is hiring for a  Hospital-to-Home Infant Feeding and Motor Therapist (OT or PT)!As a Hospital-to-Home Infant Feeding and Motor Therapist (OT or PT), this position primarily provides evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services to infants (0-6 months) who have motor and feeding difficulties. This position will include work on our Hospital-to-Home Team (H2H) and Core Services. We work closely with families to help make the transition home easier by providing in-home therapy, community resources, and ongoing support.

About Northwest Center Kids:
Northwest Center Kids Early Supports is a unique program at the intersection of educational support and medical support for children with disabilities. Our multidisciplinary team is highly skilled, collaborative, and innovative, serving a diverse community.We serve children in their homes, childcare, and community settings in person or via telemedicine. Our providers aim to create a collaborative partnership with the families we serve, utilizing strengths and a relationship-based approach focused on equity and family priorities. Family capacity to support their child’s development and advocate for their needs is built through reflection, information sharing, and modeling.This position falls under a collective bargaining agreement with the UFCW 3000 union.
Location:On-site, Seattle, WA
Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours per week; Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with a flexible schedule (Wednesday and Fridays required)
Occupational Therapist Wage Range:$37.37 - $50.87 per hour 
Physical Therapist Wage Range: $38.89 – $52.39 per hour

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the State of Washington
  • At least two years of experience working in pediatrics or fieldwork that includes a pediatric affiliation
  • Early Supports or working a caseload, including infants with motor and feeding difficulties
  • Knowledge of infant feeding and child development for children 0-5 years
  • Two years’ experience working in pediatric feeding with children 0-6 months and 12-months and older. Internship rotations are considered experience
  • Interest or experience working with children who are tube-fed and/or weaning from a feeding tube preferred
  • Experience in infant handling and knowledge of motor development
  • Commitment to providing equitable services to families who are linguistically and racially diverse.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, and community partners
  • Candidates with experience providing services with non-English speaking families and/or infant mental health desired.
  • Must have or obtain current CPR and first aid certifications
  • Complete bloodborne pathogens and HIV training
  • Must provide own car and insurance that meets state minimum insurance requirements
