Libby is the county seat of Lincoln County with a population of approximately 20,000. Libby itself (including a four-mile radius around the city) has a population of approximately 12,000.

All kinds of outdoor activities abound here in our part of western Montana. We have big game hunting of deer, elk, sheep, bear, moose, and mountain lion; fishing on a myriad of mountain lakes, streams and on the Kootenai River; and year-round outdoor recreation for the avid or beginning recreationalists – including skiing, hiking and mountain biking. All of this with a backdrop of the Cabinet Mountains wilderness, which towers 9,000 feet from the valley floor.
