Job Details Job Location Plymouth Clinic - Plymouth, MN Description LAB and X-RAY TECHNICIAN Northwest Family Clinics is a physician-owned group of specialists in family medicine, focused on providing the highest quality of medical care to patients in all stages of life. Join us in our mission to improve health and wellness in our community. NWFC is seeking a Lab Technician with optional X-ray Technician capabilities for our Plymouth facility. See below for the Essential Functions of the Lab and X-Ray Technician. A successful Lab Technician will have the following skills and abilities:
Following all quality assurance and protocols for collection of samples for testing. Provides accurate and timely laboratory information based on the performance of analytical tests.
Reports test results following clinical protocols and prioritization - alert providers immediately with panic-level patient results.
Review preventative services and standing orders.
Documentation and charting of all pertinent information so that the patient history is accurate and updated.
Administer immunizations and medication by provider orders.
Follow established guidelines and protocols to provide requested clinical information to providers, nurses, and other relevant health care personnel.
Maintains confidentiality by keeping all patient and medical information seen and heard in the strictest confidence.
Additional nice-to-have X-Ray Technician skills and abilities:
Prepare patients for radiological and imaging procedures, ensuring appropriate safety measures are taken for self, colleagues, and patients.
Process radiological digital images.
Documentation and charting of all pertinent information so that the patient history is accurate and updated.
Limited Scope Operator, RAD Tech, Lab Tech, MLT, or CMA, candidates must have X-ray License or Certification
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year experience
Education, licensure, certifications as required for role(s).
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent customer service skills to include active listening and professional writing.
Thrive and maintain priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.
Computer knowledge to utilize medical software.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Display organization, accuracy and ability to work autonomously.
Limited and rare travel between Plymouth, Crystal, and Rogers clinics. This role is positioned at our Plymouth facility.
