Northwest Oregon Housing Authority is Hiring an Assistant Community Manager Near Astoria, OR

The Northwest Oregon Housing Authority, located in the beautiful Oregon North Coast region, is looking for a mission-drive, skilled Assistant Community Manager to join our team. We are a housing authority consisting of a group of dedicated board and staff members who provide housing for those with limited financial means in Columbia, Clatsop, and Tillamook counties. We are looking for someone with a high degree of integrity, great work ethics, and willingness to learn and grown.

Essential Duties:

1. Assist the property manager in overseeing all aspects of the housing authority's scattered-site HUD, RD, Tax Credit, market-rate, and program-driven properties.

2. Assist the property manager to drive down vacancy and maintain high occupancy through efficient and effective leasing.

3. Complete monthly rent collection process.

4. Complete resident recertifications.

5. Assist the property manager with lease enforcement.

6. Complete resident move-in and move-out process.

7. Maintain property waitlists.

8. Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders.

9. Assist the property manager with vendor and purchasing coordination.

10. Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

11. Other duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
