Northwest Permanente is Hiring a Performance Development Administrator Near Portland, OR

Overview:

The Performance Development Administrator coordinates Northwest Permanente employee performance appraisal processes, assists with the development, facilitation, and design of talent review meetings, has responsibility for their implementation, and provides technical support and training for the web-based performance management tool. The Performance Development Administrator also compiles, structures, and analyzes data to make recommendations to support continued performance development across the organization. Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Uses the web-based performance management system to create and launch review processes.
  • Maintains a calendar for performance reviews, tracking which specific employees were reviewed in each process, and monitor participation to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Creates and distributes review information by accessing various performance reporting systems and websites to obtain data. Analyze and aggregate data.
  • Provides technical and administrative support during performance review processes, including generating reports for managers as needed.
  • Develops clear and concise communications for physician leaders, staff physicians and administrative staff to help them understand their roles in the talent/performance review process.
  • Coordinates, schedules, and facilitates monthly talent review meetings for managed business lines, as well as aid in the creation, facilitation, and presentation of reviews to cover any absences.
  • Identifies performance development opportunities/trends in annual talent/performance reviews, and follow up with reviewees, recommending opportunities for further development.
  • Creates training materials and conducts new leader training for managers responsible for performance reviews.
  • Aids in the ongoing performance improvement of the team, including process improvement, bridging communication gaps, and overall systems improvements (both inter and intra department).
  • Compiles, structures, and analyzes human resources data to make recommendations that help streamline the performance review processes, assist management in advancement decision, and recommend professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications -

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • Three (3) years customer service experience to include experience in a business environment.
  • One (1) year Human Resources experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials with a strong sense of integrity as well as sound judgement, awareness, and business ethics.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated project coordination skills and the ability to facilitate desired outcomes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient presentation skills.
  • Experienced at creating agendas, choosing the appropriate stakeholders, and facilitating meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities with varying levels of management, staff, and medical professionals and outside vendors through strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize complex information and develop a recommendation for course of action.
  • Working knowledge of policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Proven ability to maintain effective working relationships and maintain confidentiality at all levels internally and outside of the organization.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills, problem-solving and follow through while working accurately with details and coping with frequent interruptions.
  • In depth knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications -

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field.
  • PHR/SHRM certification.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the human resources field.
  • Experience in and knowledge of the health care industry.
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting performance reviews and performance review process.
  • In-depth content knowledge in any of the following areas: Human resources, performance development, organizational behavior, etc.
