Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance of trucks and equipment, be able to batch ready mix concrete, managing and scheduling drivers, CDL preferred but not required
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the plant
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience at a ready mix concrete plant
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Mechanical knowledge
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
