Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess experience with task-based math curriculums, a strong ability to develop students' critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement task-based math curriculums effectively to engage students in hands-on, practical learning experiences.
• Develop and enhance students' critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
• Build productive mathematical discourse in a diverse classroom environment. 
• Prioritize building strong, positive relationships with students to create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and growth.
• Continuously assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all students succeed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in math education.

Qualifications:

• Experience with task-based math curriculums and effective teaching methodologies.
• Proven ability to develop critical thinking and logical reasoning skills in students.
• Strong commitment to fostering positive relationships and creating a safe classroom environment in a diverse classroom setting.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Relevant teaching certification and a degree in education or a related field.
