We are looking for an experienced DSP or caregiver with at least 8-12 months recent experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. You will a fixed schedule as a 4 Day Weekend Day Shift staff working 4 consecutive days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. (This is NOT a Sat/Sun only position) Dedicated Weekend Day Shift hours are 9am - 7pm. Must have reliable transportation and excellent verbal, written and computer documentation skills.
You will be supporting adult individuals between ages 18 and 60 with intellectual and developmental disabilities that live in their own home in the Vancouver area.
*New hire bonus: $500 after working your first 90 days an additional $500 after completing your first 6 months of work with all training completed.

• $20.95/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist adults with their personal care - personal hygiene, bathing/grooming, dressing
• Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home safe and comfortable for the individuals we support
• Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals
• Accompany individuals to their scheduled appointments and activities such as swimming, the movies, shopping at the mall, etc.
• Remind and assist individuals with self-administration of medications
• Document services provided using computer

• Have the Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Must be able to move quickly, lift, transfer, stand for periods of time
