Wage: $20.00/hour Full range scale: $20.00-$21.10

Job Description
  • Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Follow all support plans to ensure that care is person centered, which includes helping individuals reach their goals and overcome behavioral challenges.
  • Support levels could include but are not limited to: verbal assistance, partial and/or full physical assistance, and performing personal care tasks as needed, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the home and meal preparation
  • Employees may need to handle and de-escalate inappropriate behavior from the individuals such as verbal and/or physical aggression
  • Assist the individual(s) in the community such as appointments, shopping and personal outings, etc.
  • Use public transportation on community outings (free of charge for support staff) - These outings can happen any time of the year, we cannot decline to assist the individual due to weather conditions- unless it is deemed a health and safety risk.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1 year of previous caregiving experience required
