Has a full time opening for a Fiscal Assistant position within the AAAD department. It is the responsibility of the Fiscal Assistant to assist the Budget Analyst in maintaining the established system of accounting that will accurately account for and document all Federal and State funds disbursed by Northwest Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability, Statewide Home and Community Based Services, and the CHOICES program to its contracted service providers. The Fiscal Assistant will provide assistance in verification of invoicing and preparation of required financial reports. Applicant must have effective communication skills, oral and written, must be able to problem solve, and have good listening skills. Ability to establish good working relationships internally and externally with colleagues and consumers. Bachelor’s degree in field of accounting or related field with at least two years of relevant experience required. This position is on site located in Martin, TN.
