Position Overview: The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has an opening for a contacted Occupational Therapist (OT). The OT serves as a functioning member of the educational team with duties to include: screening, evaluation, educational programs, transition planning, therapeutic intervention, and exit planning for students identified with or suspected of having disabilities that interfere with school performance. This is coverage for a leave. This position will begin on or around September 23rd 2024 through December 1st 2024. Pay Rate: $44.66/hr. Required Qualifications:

• PA Licensure in Occupational Therapy Essential Functions:
• Work with other disciplines to ensure team understanding of student occupational performance strengths and needs through evaluation, educational program planning and service delivery.
• Evaluates the student's ability and formulates the student's occupational profile through a variety of functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews.
• Interprets evaluation results into a comprehensive written report which reflects strengths and challenges to students participation in the educational environment, directs program development, and guides evidence based intervention. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
